We, Click Crew Media B.V. (“we”, “us” or “Click Crew Media”), take the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our comparison service Stairlift Compare, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data needed to provide our comparison service:

  • Quiz answers — e.g. type of stairlift, installation location, staircase shape, timeframe.
  • Contact details — first and last name, email address, phone number, postcode.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser, operating system, referrer URL, timestamp.
  • Tracking parameters — click ID and UTM campaign parameters used to attribute your enquiry.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data only for the following purposes:

  • Running the quote comparison and passing your enquiry to selected partner companies (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR — performance of a contract).
  • Meeting our contractual obligations towards our partners (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
  • Complying with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) UK GDPR).
  • Improving and securing our service on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

4. Sharing with partner companies

So that you can receive a personalised quote, we pass your quiz answers and contact details to selected partner companies. We only share your data after you have given your explicit consent when submitting the quiz.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as needed to provide the introduction and to meet legally required retention periods. Technical log data is generally anonymised or deleted after 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased
  • Restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time, with future effect
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

7. Data security

All transfers are encrypted (TLS). Personal fields such as email and phone number are additionally stored encrypted in our database (AES-256-GCM).

8. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the service, measure performance and attribute enquiries to the campaign that referred you. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the law or our service. The current version is always available on this page.
